A few days after the election, I woke up thinking, "I'm older than the new President." Now that brought a change in perspective that colors what I hear on the news …"worst economy in 16 years" … "worst retail Christmas season in 24 years" … Well I don't remember 1992 being all that bad, and I had my best one-day sales record on Christmas Eve, 1984.** So let's all relax, safe in the knowledge that it isn't the sky that's falling, it's the Earth that's turning.

Many businesses had cash flow problems this fall, and Flying Sheep Yarns was no exception. Our fall and winter orders were pushed back a month or so, but lots of cool stuff is here, with still more to come. How exciting! It doesn't get any better than snow and knitting.***

And remember, when you're doing your holiday shopping, Think Local First.**** We all benefit from keeping the cash flowing through our community.

Flying Sheep Yarns is located in the Colonial Lanes Shopping Plaza.

From I-94, take the State Street exit and head North on State. Make a Right turn at Eisenhower, go up and over the bridge, then get in the Left Turn lane for South Industrial. We're about a mile North on the left, just past Mr. Stadium Coin Laundry. We are at the rear of the plaza, on the right as you drive in. Any questions or problems?
